Looks like the world's financial situation is keeping us more at home and away from spending. This could be a good thing; spending more time at home, that is, I don't mean the financial crisis that we're now facing. However, we do need our entertainment at home. So I guess we will still be giving out our money on some of those techno gadgets showing at the 42nd annual International Consumer Electronics Show (8-11 Jan) in Las Vegas.
Gizmo's to be expected: Netbooks, OLED TV (organic light-emitting diode- Sony's XEL-1, the world's first OLED TV, costs $2,500 for an 11-inch screen --way too expensive), more exclusive wireless devices and Blu-Ray players.
I am sure we will see some very interesting gadgets and hopefully be able to buy them as well!
